The 1990s
November 1992
Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Industrial Association, a commemorative ceremony was held. In addition, recognition was given for long-term contributions to the improvement of environmental hygiene, receiving a commendation from the Minister of Health and Welfare. In the same year, the Industrial Association established a chairman's award system.
The 2000s
January 2001
Due to the restructuring of government ministries, it came will come under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of the Environment.
July 2002
Following the approval of partial amendments to the articles of incorporation, the name has been changed to 'Japan Environmental Sanitation Facilities Manufacturers Industry Association.'
The 2010s
July 2011
With the approval of the Prime Minister, it was converted into a general incorporated association and the name was changed to 'General Incorporated Association Japan Environmental Sanitation Facilitiesy Industry Manufacturers Association'
May 2012
To mark the 50th anniversary of its founding, the association published a 50-year history and presented commemorative certificates of appreciation at the ordinary general meeting to organizations and individuals who have contributed significantly to the association's development.
July 2012
A letter of appreciation was presented by the Minister of the Environment for support activities related to the disposal of disaster waste from the Great East Japan Earthquake.
The 2020s
June 2025
Received an award from the Minister of the Environment for actively supporting the handling and disposal of disaster waste during following the Reiwa 6 Noto Peninsula earthquake.
